Dr Ying Li is a specialist in fertility, gynaecology and obstetrics. He provides a compassionate and personalised approach to treatment, investing time in understanding his patients and developing the most appropriate plan to address their specific issues. A leader in obstetrics, gynaecology and fertility treatment, he can support patients from pre-conception right through to birth. He enjoys the long relationship he has with patients on their journey to become parents, providing care throughout the conception, pregnancy and birth chapters.

Ying attended the University of NSW and graduated with a medical degree BSc(Med) MBBS in 2006. Ying trained as a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and completed an extra fellowship in advanced laparoscopic / endoscopic surgery.  Ying has also completed an additional three-year sub-specialty fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Ying has spent the past nine years focusing on obstetrics and gynaecology and is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He also has a special interest in the training of junior doctors especially in the areas of infertility and advanced laparoscopy. He works with both RANZCOG and the Institute of Academic Surgery at the University of Sydney to deliver innovative training programmes.

In addition to male and female factor infertility as well as general gynaecology and obstetrics, Ying has a special interest in reproductive surgery, recurrent pregnancy loss and fertility preservation. Ying also has expertise in reproductive endocrinology including management of abnormal uterine bleeding, menstrual disturbance and menopause.

Ying partners with Genea Fertility to offer his patients the best chance of having a family in the quickest possible time.

Ying has consulting rooms in Hurstville, Sydney CBD and Wolli Creek. Ying is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
